Christina Russo
Christina Russo, a mezzo-soprano from Levittown, NY, has recently returned home after completing her Masters in Music at Binghamton University with a concentration in Opera Performance. She was seen most recently as Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with New York Opera Theater. In November 2016, she made her company and role debut as the Sandman in the Tri-Cities Opera production of Hansel and Gretel. Other credits include Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Second Lady (Die Zauberflöte), La Zelatrice (Suor Angelica), Nicklausse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), La Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi), and Dido (Dido and Aeneas). Christina keeps an active voice studio on Long Island. She is a student of Thomas Goodheart.
