Announcing our 13th season: Where is Love?
Full season schedule at https://evoco.vc/rehearsals/
Fall Mixed Project: Eros
Join us as we chase the exhilaration and occasional heartbreak of romantic love with Eros, featuring Johannes Brahms' Liebeslieder Walzer, Clara Schumann's Gondoliera—two composers whose story is one of classical music's most compelling "what ifs"—alongside the world premiere of Joan Johnson Drewes' Dear Love. November 7th & 8th, 2026
Winter Treble Project: Agape
Charity, goodwill, and love of neighbor—Agape is the selfless recognition that we all belong to one another. Featuring Shara Nova’s Winter Hymns for piano & viola, and Caroline Shaw’s "Its Motion Keeps” for choir and viola. January 9th & 10th, 2027
Spring Mixed Project: Philia
eVoco’s first Mixed Ensemble Pops Concert, Philia, celebrates friendship, shared memories, and the importance of caring for one another. Featuring rock, pop, and Broadway classics, including Joshua Shank’s arrangement of Lionel Bart’s “Where Is Love? and “I Love You/What a Wonderful World” by Craig Hella Johnson. March 20th & 21st, 2027
Spring Treble Project: Storge
Named for the Greek word for the love that binds families and grows through care, teaching, and mentorship, eVoco’s final Summer Treble concert Storge reflects on the people who nurture our lives. Featuring the intimate beauty of Shara Nova’s “I Have Never Loved Someone The Way I Love You” and Billy Joel’s “Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel),” the program celebrates the quiet love-in-action that comforts, guides, and inspires each of us. May 15th & 16th, 2027
