Lauren Jacobson

Lauren Jacobson holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.A. in Adolescent Mathematics Education from Adelphi University, and is a math teacher at the Sewanhaka Central High School District. She was a member of the Adelphi Choral Ensemble and the only non-music major to be a part of Adelphi’s Vocal Ensemble, their premier a cappella group. With a strong passion for music, she was a member of multiple ensembles as a Herricks student including the Chamber Choir, Chamber Orchestra, Women’s Choir, and Tri-M Music Honor Society Co-President. As a member of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra (MYO) for 10 years, she has annually performed in venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She is honored to be a part of this phenomenal ensemble and to continue her love for singing!
