Ryan Occeña

Ryan Occeña is delighted to be making his debut with eVoco this season, having recently moved to New York from the Midwest, where he was a member of the Te Deum Chamber Choir and taught K-8 music. Ryan is the director of choirs at Roslyn High School. He holds the Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a diploma in choral conducting from the Zoltán Kodály Pedagogical Institute of Music in Hungary, where he studied on a Fulbright fellowship. When not singing or teaching, Ryan can be found with his wife and daughter, learning languages, trying new foods, and playing outdoors.
