Louise O’Hanlon has been a teacher in the Herricks Public Schools in New Hyde Park, NY for the past 26 years. Holding a B. Music from University College Cork, (Ireland), a Masters in Education from Lehman College (CUNY), and certificates in both Orff (Hofstra University) and Kodaly (NYU), Louise has a passion for World Music, which she shares with all her performing groups. Her choirs have consistently received Gold and Gold with Distinction at NYSSMA Large Ensemble Festivals and have performed at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Westminster Choir College, Hofstra University, and the 2012 ACDA All Eastern Conference.
